If you didn't get a chance to see On the Basis of Sex, 2018's inspiring biopic about Supreme Court Justice and all-around icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg, don't worry — the film is releasing digitally on March 26 and on Blu-ray on April 9. But in the meantime, we have an exclusive clip about the real-life love story between Ruth and her husband Martin, who are played by Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer in the film.
"The movie is one of the great love stories of all time," director Mimi Leder says of the couple in the clip. "Justice Ginsburg had a very long marriage that was so full of love and partnership and equality, and really spoke to our film and the metaphor of the movie: equality." Justin Theroux, who plays Mel Wulf in the film, also chimes in, noting how "Martin supported her at a time when men weren't necessarily as supportive of women as they should've been, particularly in a household with children."
Watch the eye-opening clip about Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Martin Ginsburg, above, and then be sure to check out On the Basis of Sex now that it's available!
